PAYPAL launches PassPort

U.S. – PayPal has launched  PassPort, an information hub for merchants to help expand their cross-order sales. Thru PassPort, users will have access to find stats, tips, and general information on international sales. Some of the data available is interactive. One example, enumerated by   TechCrunch, is a timeline that charts sales activity over the last year in terms of what part of the world sees the most sales in any given month. That data will include holidays and other useful information that will help merchants build prioritization plans.  The service is not intended to be a comprehensive analytics service, though it will encourage users to interact with data professionals at PayPal to better apply useful analytics to their international sales efforts.
